95 Eclipse plain jane non-turbo bottom of the line car.... No spark. Has fuel, but absolutely no spark. I took the distributor cap off and the part that goes into the coil was heavily corroded, scraped it off,and was sure that would fix it. No such luck. Still, no spark. I unplugged the two wire connector that plugs into the side of the Distributor, for the coil, and there is 12 volts on one wire, and the other wire is a good ground. Does this mean the coil is bad? Also, before it crapped out completely, it was occasionally loosing power.... ANY IDEAS??

Yes, thats a sure fire sign that your distibuter is bad, replace it and see if you get spart. If your still not getting spark than there is about a 1% chance that every single one of your plug wires are bad.

Well, not sure if it was the coil or ignitor in the distributor, but got a used one from the junkyard, car runs great!! Hope this helps someone else!! By the way, it is hard to find, because it is getting to old for the yards to keep the cars around!!
