HELP! Van won't start & Battery won't charge

Today I loaded my kids in the van (automatic door worked fine), got in & tried to crank. There was a click, then nothing! Lights, radio, door - nothing worked. When I tried to jump it off, it would not charge. When I turn the key, there isn't so much as a click. There is absolutely nothing happening.
I find this troubling because - as I said - the electric door worked just fine a minute before the trouble started. What could it be?:banghead:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

if its the original battery the positive battery posts like to leak and then fall out resulting in what you described id check there first
