What motors were available in the Excursion

I am planning on buying a Excursion and would like to know what motors are available since their introduction and what was the year of their introduction.
Also, what were the best years and motors for the Excursion?

The Excursion was essentially just an F-250 with a interior instead of a bed. The engines that were available were the same as that were available on the Super Duty trucks. Therefore the stock Triton 5.4, the Powerstroke Diesel, and rarely the Triton V10 (seen one Excursion with the V10 in my whole life).
