My truck started missing and also backfiring a few weeks ago. Replaced sparkplugs and wires. It quit backfiring but is still missing. Replaced the fuel injectors last weekend but it still misses.Does anyone know if a bad ignition coil could cause this problem?

Check engine light on? If so, what codes are given when a scan tool is used.

My 1997 had a coil for each sparkplug if this is the case a bad coil will definately cause a miss. If you check codes it should tell you which cylinder is misfiring. Auto Zone and Advance do this as a free service. I assume they will you to buy a part from them.
A bad pressure regulator can cause a miss by causing some cylinders not to get a proper mixture.

also make sure your gap in your spark plugs are correct for the vehicle

Do a compression test on the cylinders also,it could be a "dead cylinder" and a compression test will confirm that.
