HELP! Car adding miles all by its self...IN PARK

Hay I need some help, I took out my dash to fix the dimming ODO (http://www.regalgs.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31452&highlight=dimming+dash) Got it all fixed up and pluged the dash back in and the car just started adding miles at a rate of about 1mile every 1-2 sec. My car is in the 94K range and at the rate it is adding miles it will be over 200k by Decmber. any help is welcome
Note: yes I know that page with the Write-Up is on a Regal forum, every thing is the same on the Century but the DIC computer, we dont have one
UPDATE: It looks like it has stoped now. I am wondering if the car is set up to just add some miles every time you take the IC out. I will have to call the dealer on Monday to find out.
