Gauges not working after tranny work??

A few weeks ago I took my 93 Plymouth Grand Voyager into a transmission shop and had tranny work. They replaced the torque converter. Ever since getting my van back my gauges have gone crazy. I checked and all of the fuses are good. My speedometer shorts in and out and when that doesn't work the odometer doesn't work either. My temperature gauge tells me the van is overheating one second and cold the next. I checked all of my fluids and know for a fact that the engine is not getting hot but it still freaks me out. I was going to take it in to another shop but I have had a few people tell me that the people that fixed my transmission caused it. I called them back and they told me that they could have messed up thye speedometer but the other gauges should still work. My dad and brother both disagree and a guy that works with my husband says the same thing. I wanted another opinion. Has anyone heard of a transmission shop messing up gauges like that?

Thanks,
Bambi

If The Gauges ?
Were Working Perfectly Before !! You Took It In To The Shop,,, For Repair , Then The Shop Is Responsable For Damaging Up The Wiring , They Eighter Cut Wires,,,,
Did Not Get Grounds Wires Hooked Up Properly, Cut Or
Pinched The Wires Between Transmission Case And Engine Block What Ever It May Be The Shop Sounds Very Responsable ,
If The Gauges Were Working Before The Tranny Install, Then They Should Fix It Free And Give You A Rental Car

Stick To The Facts , Stand Your Groung,

Thanks! I have never had a problem with my gauges before. My brother and I are taking the van back Monday morning. Hopefully they'll fix it.
