Im so lost. We need to start over here.

I recently purchased a engine and now im gettin it installed. i got a call today from my mechanic saying that the computer on my old engine was at the back of the engine and the one i have now is in the front near the water jacket. he said im goin to need to buy a harness to go from the old wire to the computer by the water jacket. i have no idea what harness i need to buy. Does anyone know which harness i need and where i can get it from?

Thats not a computer, thats the crank sensor. All you need to do is have your mechanic swap the CAS from your old engine into the rear head where it goes and use your stock harness. It will work fine.
