SVS/security Light

Alrite i recently just had my rotors put on and ever since then about 2 weeks ago my car is Throwing the SVS i dunno why, sometimes ill start the car some mornings and it wont be on then while im driving it just comes on? i tried tightening the Gas cap and checked all my light bulbs and everythings fine but it still comes on, wen i had my rotors changed buddy told me i needed to get new CV joints but i dont think that would throw the SVS light any ideas? oh yea and my security light stays on while driving does that go off eventually or doe sit just stay on cuz a couple weeks a go i had to do the case-relearn or passlock relearn or wateevr its called thing with the key in for 10 min i had to do it 3 time sin one week and its been fine since then but now the security light stays on any ideas on that as well? thanx hope u guys can help

The security light should never stay on.
Have you tried cleaning you key or blowing out the ignition lock cylinder ?
That might help.... you dont have like 50 things hanging from your keys do ya ??
The svs light could be on for many reasons.
I'd say find a good scan tool and see what codes come up.
Their should be a few since those two lights are on, and this is about the only way to figure it out.
Unless you have money to burn, then just start replacing things ...:grinno:

lol sum1 told me that scanners cant read SVS codes just SES and besides the car key and my house key i have nothin on my key chain ill try blowin in the cylinder itself

Even one of the high or low beam headlights can make the svs come on.
All the way down to a bad EBCM.
Might try the relearn again but follow these directions...
