o2 sensor location?

i wanted to unplug my o2 sensor its already out of the exhuast ,but i dont know where the other end is in the engine

what year 3S do you have? turbo or NA?

1992 NA 5 speed

unless you have a cali-spec car (which i believe only came on the 94+ cars), then as an NA you have 1 O2 sensor. it is located in the exhaust just before the main catalytic converter. the wires run up through the bottom of the floor in the middle below the center console near the shifter.

is that where you can unplug it? inside the car by the shifter? i wanted to unplug the other end of the sensor so it wasnt connected to the ecu or engine anymore,i worked on the exhuast the other day n cut the o2 sensor n now the car wont start i was thinking if i unpluged the sensor from the engine itd start up

Car will start with no 02 sensor. If you cut wires and shorted them together you probly blew a fuse.

thats what happened i blew a fuse i replaced it n the car starts up fine =)
