ok so i just bought a 95 eagle talon with a blown turbo
so i deside to put a 16g turbo in it so im almost done and then i take off the licp and there was a shit ton of oil in it. is that because the turbo was blown and was just pushing oil though. yes it does have a oil filter from the intake to the valve cover. im just wondering what i should do and do you think it caused any damage

yes that is very common for blown turbo's to put a lot of oil into the IC pipes. No its not going to cause any damage it very rarely makes it all the way up past the IC and into the throttle body. Just take all the ic pipes clean em and put them back on and your good to go.

ok thanks
hey can you tell me if i can use a evo3 oil return line instead of modding the 14b oil return line or is there any other oil return line i can buy to use that i might get from mistu

I used the oil return line from this kit http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=17009&cat=336&page=1
so I never bothered with the stockers. That kit worked amazing but since you have a 1g (im assuming from the 14b) than you don't need the jpipe which I'm guessing would be at least half the cost for that kit. Which means it would be alot cheaper to do get that line someother way. Ill have a quick look see what I can dig up.

wait you had the 14b into your 2g? then you have already switched the turbo once.
so then you already have a jpipe.

stock 2g turbo is the t-25 the 16g is a ton better but you will have make sure you don't boost it past 15psi on your stock fuel system or you start risking blowing your engine.

ok thanks, i just bought the car and the guy i bought it from says it has a 255 walbro, greddy turbo timer, what else am i going to need to get this bad boy running nice?

well a walbro 255 needs a fpr for a daily driver
here is a good article about it
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=248115
As for running nice depends on what your definition is ;) tell me what you want and I'll tell you what to do ;)
edit by the way since you're going from a t-25 to a 16g I highly recommend getting that 2g install kit I posted earlier. It can be done without it if you're a really good tweaker but Its 12323 times easier with that kit. And you will need to cut your Lower intercooler pipe from the shape of an S to more like a U so that it fits on to the j pipe nicely (its not hard and pretty obvious where to cut it.

well ive onwed a stock 420a till now so im still pretty new since i havnt really dugg into upgradeing a whle lot but ive been trying to learn. so whats a fpr is that a fuel pump reg. if it is what does one look like so that i can make it doesnt have one already.

and as far as goal for now 350hp street car dd
then well who knows.
i do have a greddy fmic comeing next week.
so what else do i need to look at ?
remeber i live in cali where most things are ilegal

yea thats a fuel pressure regulator. To make 350 the 16g should be good. you will need to upgrade quite a few things to make that kinda power. Intake, 3 inch exhaust, some bigger injectors and a fuel management computer, the fmic, a fpr for that 255, a wideband for some kind of logging to see whats going on with those new injectors, probably some cams 272.264 a boost gauge that would do it probably but you would fry your clutch pretty fast.

i think the guy said it had a act 2100 or 2600
intake and exhaust are on the list
what kind of fpr should i look in to
also will the cams mess with the emisions because like i said i live in cali and well the laws suck bad here

this is good and there is an eclispe install kit for it too
http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=17336&cat=310&page=1
yea cams may mess with emissions alot of people have run cams with no problems but others have found that the lope at idle has caused etest problems.

If you buy DSM link you will never have another DSM problem. I've put a lot of money into modding my DSM and if I had to do it all over again DSM Link would be the first thing I would buy. Youll never have an issue passing emissions on a 2g because it eliminates all CELs and it will help you in the long run with almost all of your modification issues. I guess it depends, but with the money youll spend on an AFC and all the little crap that will help the motor run right you could easily buy DSMLink and solve your problems. Just some FYI, take it as you may.

Here is a great link that explains very good steps to modifying your DSM
http://www.dsmtuners.com/sub.php?page=2gtupgrades (I know its from another forum, but it really is great advise)

After installing my bc 272's, i noticed a good bit of loss of bottom end power, but an increase in top end. The idle lope doesn't bother me, but i can't say anything about emissions since we don't have them here. I havent made it to the dyno yet, its hard finding one that supports awd. Just a guess but i should probably be somewhere around the 300 mark (based on my buddies car with near 500 hp). I have a feeling a 50 trim is in my future.
