Hey Guys,
I Have A 01 Chevy Astro With 70k Miles My Radiator Has A Small
Crack (about 1") On The Front Driverside Of The Van, It Will Only Leak When The Van Has Been Driven For A While. Do I Need To Replace
The Radiator Or Is There Some Other Way To Fix It. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Another Problem I Have Is When The Van Is Cold The Idle Is Real Rough But Runs Smooth When Driving Or Put In Neutral At A Stop Light.............

Any repair of the GRP (plastic) tank would require removal and a thorough cleaning of the damaged area. A new radiator can be had for under $150, so you make the call.

Thanks Guys! I'm Going To Replace The Radiator, I Don't Want To Take A Chance On It Leaking Again....i Had A Leak In My Water Pump About 6 Months Ago I Put Some Stop Leak In The Radiator And It Has Not Leaked Since. Should I Replace The Water Pump Before I
Put In The New Radiator?..

Replace the water pump while the radiator is out of the vehicle. It gives you more room to work, and you don't have to worry about damaging it.
