convertible top

Im having a problem with the top. I couldnt get the top up so I put the hard top on. Now the hard top wont release at all, the top button light keeps blinking. Anyone have any idea.

I'm fairly new to the MBZ world but as far as the tops go, you have to release both of the levers. The short one moves to the 6 o"clock position to release. Probably the cable is stretched if you can't get anything to work. There is a thread on releasing the catch somewhere in the messages. Hope this helps.
