i am in the process of taking tint off my car. i got it all off except for the rear window. the tint is old, bubbled and brittle. it comes off in pieces the size of a dead frogs toenail. its making me really mad! you guys have any ideas for me?

use a steamer to loosen it up and carefully peel back

there is also a spray that is found where you buy tint that helps remove the old tint, i dont know if it works well cuz i never used it but i have seen it and its only like $5 so maybe worth a try.

i'll try anything that might work. the tint shop in my home town wants over $300 to take the tint off the back window and retint the whole car.

Im a windex man. Helps break down the adhesive. Once the tint itself it off, it will be alot easier to finish it all up.

you mean spray windex on the tint to get the tint off? the glue is no problem. i use shampoo/steel wool for that. works great.

Well, that and a good crisp razor. If done correctly, you wont leave and scratches or anything. Just be patient and take your time.
