Can anybody point me to some website where I can find a step by step tutorial on how to install an amplifier and subwoofer on a 94 LeSabre? I saw a video on the Crutchfield website that says the cables from the battery to the amplifier should be ran through the firewall at the place where the rest of the cables go, but I can't find that spot, and I couldn't find it in the service manual (Chilton).
If anybody already did this on their LeSabre, any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

As i havent tried to install and amp in my Lesabre many years ago i have done so in other cars and it was quite easy. The port hole for the cables(wires) is in the firewall. Usually somewhere on the drivers side above the pedals. You may have to pull the carpet back to see it better or lookfrom under the hood. The hole is always plugged closed with a black rubber thingy. So you wont be looking for a hole but a black rubber thingy that plugs it in. When you find it just pop it out and run the positive cable from the battery and through the hole in your firewall and run it underneath the drivers side door cill to the back and through the back seat.
There are two things in which i sould tell you before hand:
1) The speaker wires should not run to the trunk of your car on the same side of any amp power supply wires . You'll end up getting interference.
2) to ground the amp you have to connect the negative wire somewhere to the bottom of the trunks metal floor. Usually there are some bolst in which you can connect to. Also. You'll have to sand any paint off of that part where you are going to attatch the ground wire otherwise it wont be grounded. Use a drill with a sander disc it will be much easier.
Good Luck!

Guys, I'm going to need a little more help here, and preferably really soon because I just got my subwoofer and I'm dying to install it (you know guys and new toys). I took panels off, and I see cables everywhere but I can't seem to find a clear place where they go into the engine, and if I look from the engine's side, I can't find it either. Does anybody know exactly where the cables go in and out through the firewall in a 94 LeSabre? That way I can have a better starting point that keeping on dismantling the whole car...
Thanks
Thanks
