I enjoyed doing this one.. lots of time-consuming detail... but worth it, at least to me. Again, all in Illy. CC's concerning Illustrator and/or detailing are always welcome. Robo

Robo, your close-ups are fantastic and this one is amazing.

Only suggestion would be to add some gradient shading/shadowing to the tire treads
to make them match the level of realism of the rest of the image.

Blip & Bonz... thanks. Yeah, the grill took a while. I really enjoyed doing it, but too time-consuming. You know, you're rarely happy with your own work and keep trying more stuff until you are burned out.

Thanks. No, I'm not a pro. Just a retired old guy who loves old hot rods & muscle cars. I have never used a 3D software yet, but have looked into Maya and others.. Just Illustrator and Freehand, along with Photoshop. Robo

im diggin this 1 too. i like the MSD ignition(mutiple spark discharge). lol everything is clean sharp.
