Hi my name is Rachel and I am in a predicament. I got up this morning and went to start my car and cannot get the key to turn. It won't budge at all. What should I do?

Try rocking the steering wheel left and right, quite hard, whilst turning the key at the same time. Don't force the key, but do apply plenty of force when trying to turn the steering wheel.
If the steering lock is somewhat jammed due to excessive pressure from the steering system, that should free it.

there is an updated key cylinder for these cars. the original needs to be drilled out per fords procedure and replaced

tis true, this worried me once before too, the wheel should be impossible to turn one direction and stiff the other way, you just need to move it a 1/4 inch to take the pressure off
