CRX wont start every time

My CRX wont start every time. I can turn the key over and over and over, and not get the click of the fuel pump that allowes the car to start, then it will click, and do that about 5 or more times in a row and on each of those clickes it will start. All help is needed. Thanks all Sue

Sounds like a bad starter.

I do not know exact procedures for CRX, but I would hook a test light to the contacts and see if it gets juice there.

Main Relay. Do a search in the CRX section...Agreed.. Had one do that same thing. It wouldnt go untill I did the off on off on thing. That would finally forced the contact to turn on the fuel pump.

do both, they both are notorious for going bad... plus the main realy is cheap. you dont want to get stranded for 4 hours in a blizzard waithing for a tow truck like i did because i didnt want to change it when it first showed signs of going bad
