99 Grand Am Making Strange Noise

I own a 1999 grand am for a couple of days it has been making a srange noise. It is coming from around the air conditioner pump. It sounds like a piece of something stuck in a fan almost. When I accelerate the noise speeds up and slows when let off. Any ideas what it could be? Also how hard is it to change regulator (power) drivers window.
