i am having high and low spikes in voltage to my tps, tranny, cruise, getting false temp reading in intake. fans not coming on causing overheating. electronic spark failure. voltage to battery will jump as high as 19 volts for a few seconds . tps will spike high for over 4 seconds. i have change alternator twice , battery, and a belt that needed replacment anyway . also i have been having trouble with no low beams lights.
yesterday i chaned the battery and the positive cabel. the local buik garage would not help me in any way. they said they no longer worked on cars 10 years or older
please hilp ridky thbodeaux in louisiana

Your problem could be that the ECM has gone defunct. Hard to dignose without a scanner reading live data. If the sensors are sending the correct voltage input to the ECM, the ECM should show the same input on the scanner display.

BTW, this is for your local "buik garage"! :evillol: :nutkick:

Whoa, is that supposed to be 19V high and 2 volts low?!?! :yikes:
I believe that the voltage is regulated by the ECM after 90 or so. So backing up Hotz28's statement, sounds as if Elvis has done left the building (and took your ECM with him) :(

You may be able to get your ECM back if you can find Elvis!
The King is alive!:grinyes: :iceslolan
BTW Dylan, that was a good one! :rofl:
