2006 Transmission issue

I have a 2006 GM with 26,000 miles and on occasion the transmission will act odd.

You'll be driving with your foot on the gas and then apply the brakes or coast and put foot back on the gas and tranny will rev up and then jump into gear.

Dealer checked it twice and says nothing is wrong. I drive about 5,000 miles per month in mixed city/highway driving and this happens maybe a few times a week

Please help me............

First things first. Is the fluid level okay.

On our Crown Vics, if this happens, it is because you have started to accelerate at a shift point and the computer does not know if it is supposed to downshift or upshift at that point. It is aggrevating but there is very little you can do about it. Try to see exactly the speed when it does it. If it is in the 37 to 42 mph range, that is probably your problem.
