My engine light just came on and I am getting code P0137. From what I can find on-line this seems to be one of the O2 sensors gone bad and that 2002 Durangos have multiple banks/sensors.
Can anyone tell me where these are located, how difficult they are to replace and if I should I replace both even though only 1 is failing right now? I appreciate any information you can provide.
Thanks,
Tom

You should have (2) O2 sensors, one located in the exhaust pipe before and one after the catalytic converter. Depending upon how many miles you've got on the vehicle, these are both items that require replacement after a period of time. Other than a being a pain in the %#@! to get to, these are pretty simple to replace for the average DIY'er. Check out prices from the popular auto parts stores in your area and replace both of them. Probably less than $150.00 for both.

Thanks for the info however I started the truck today and no light!!! 120 miles later and still no problems... I won't plan on seeing this problem again until the dead of winter.
