I just recently bought a 1996 Metro 4 dr and the head lights don't come on:screwy: They come on, if the switch is in the off position and my parking brake is fully released. Does anyone have a working combination switch they would like to sell me? It would be much appreciated.

It isn't likely to be the switch, it is probably the fuse block. The plug into the fuse block is mutch too small and ends up melting the plug. Pull the fuse block down and you will probably see a corner of it melted and charred. I was able to alter my fuse block to have a much larger connector and planned to make a few extras to sell but have yet to pick up the core blocks out of the junk yard. You may be able to clean up the connector enough to get it to work again.

Hey there. Execellent post. I just replaced mine and it was that connector that you describe. I'm going to run a direct off of my battery terminal and put a fuseable link in it. Cool to see you're still here.

Still here, kinda lurking, son plays world of warcraft and wife does a few things to make money online so I don't get much time at the computer.
