2001 3.0 litre

Check engine light came on. I had it read and it came back as #1 cylinder not firing. replaced plugs and wires and cleared light. Still have same problem. I have cleared this code numerous times to see if the mis fire goes to different cylinders and it is always #1. She runs rough , but is fine at cruising speed. Could the problem be in the coil pack?? Has anyone had the same issues?? Let me know as this one has me stumped. I appreciate the help....Thanks,

rare for a coil pack to cause only one cyl. to miss. but I have seen it.

Are you getting good spark to the cylinder?

Just replaced the coil pack last night and she's running great...thanks for the help guys:grinyes:
