4 wheel drive problem

i have a 1992 sierra gmc everytime i engage the 4 wheel drive it blows the fuse does anyone know why???

It's most likely the electric motor on the front axle that is causing the problem. Mine did the same thing, replaced that motor, and it has been fine so far.

It could be a bare wire under the driver side floor mat which is blowing fuses.
