383 build

Hey everyone. I am soon going to find an old 350 chevy engine to build into a 383. I'm on a pretty tight budget but would like to build a powerful, reliable motor. I'm then going to drop it into an 80's vintage iroc-z. I have seen a few articles on strking 350's, but i had a few of my own questions. I found this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SB-CHEVY-383-EAGLE-CRANK-RODS-SPEED-PRO-STROKER-KIT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ46098QQihZ013QQitem Z230153548238QQrdZ1) wich is a whole stroker kit to make a 350 into a 383, i beleive(correct me if i'm wrong). If it's not then I'll need to buy a 350 stroker crankshaft that makes the 350 into a 383 by means of taller connecting rod journals, correct? And will it be alright to run a cast 4340 steel crank instead of a forged one? Thanks for the help!
