This brings back some memories.
Thought you all might like to have a read in to "The History Of the Modelling Forum". I think this is one of the first questions posted before Jay started the Forum and we then had somewhere to post.

I think the date is correct. I remember looking at all the old threads right after joining, and it was only...um, 6 to 8 pages long...I mean the entire modelling forum, 6-8 pages! Now we have so much to say:hehehe:

Warren, you mean you never got those 1:43 touring cars or the RC one?

That's 9 months before I joined AF.

By this account, the model forum started the first week of August, 2001. Say great things about or growth rate, eh? :D

After the model forum was established, I grabbed other model threads from around AF and moved them in here, including that one... ;)

It's good to know that you're one of the 4 "forefathers"! :p

I was browsing some old threads a couple of days ago - can't believe some of the stuff I posted!!!! :eek:
