The car will not go over (42MPH), once it get to (42MPH) the transmission goes (voom) and stalls, and will not allow me accelater intill speed drops down to (3-8MPH) or sometime I have to competly stop in order to accelatrate again.... When it get 42 MPH I feel something kicking in thats is preventing it to go faster and into third gear

I am pretty sure it is a speed sensor do any 1 know what it is located on a 1994 Lincoln Continental Exec. Series...........

I've looked at my service manual, don't see what your looking for.

Here's a link (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9OIZNB9T) to my 1993/1994 Factory Service Manual, get a copy for yourself and have a look.
