engine coolant light!!! HELP!!

Sometimes the light just lights up then goes away. Mind you it doesn't happen all that much, but is still annoying. The light seems to go out once I accelerate. I checked the fluid level and all looks fine. Any help would be great.:runaround:

sensor in Resevoir bottle is likely just crapped up if it has original coolant in it

i think gm just put the sensor in a piss poor place, my car (98 2.2) has been doing this since i bought it, the light only comes when i accelerate heavily and make really sharp turns, however it doesnt come on every time
