I recently replaced my fuel filter, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, set timing. I drove for a few days no problems. I got on the freeway, too pass veichle I stepped on the gas peddel the engine hesitated them died. I tried to restart but it just turns over and does not fire. Fuel pump whirrs with key on, fuel at the engine pressure valve, rotor turns when cranking. Could the timing have Slipped? Help!!!runaround

basic testing first -- need to know if it is fuel problem or ignition problem-- need fuel pressure by psi value- with a guage- and need to know if you have spark-- could be an ignition module- they fail like that- but the spark tester will tell you if you should go that route.......

Thanks for the respnoce. I double checked the connectors and found one of the connectors at the ignition coil came loose and while poking around it slipped off. I re-connected the connector and it started right up!.:nono:
