I have a 96 voyager 2.4 lt. 16 valve. Stoped to put gas in, and it simply would not restart. I thought at first vapor lock, but now after a month still will not start. I've replaced coil pack, spark plugs, fule filter and computer brain. It rolls over, gets pressure, good compression, occationally fires but simply will not start. Have checked the timing belt and gears, all seem in good working order. Get error code 12 and 55. What's the best guess short of a quarter stick of dynomite in the intake. I really need to get this running before the wife and kids up and hang me.

Have you checked the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge? Should have 49 lbs pressure at fuel rail. Check this site: http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/1a/43/1d/0900823d801a431d/repairInfoPages.htm

Welcome to the forum. The engine needs spark, fuel, and timing for it to run. Got all three? Have you pulled a plug and checked for spark? Are the plugs soaked in fuel? Are the timing marks aligned?
The good side of a quarter stick? Where you're going, you won't need the van.
