Race worth posting...

What's up fellow AF'ers...
Well, it's been a while since I had a run in to a race that was worth my and yours time to even post on these boards. I'm telling you, the local racing scene here has been shot dead lately, and I don't know why... Well, tonight ended with a very unexpected, yet fun and very close race. And all of this happened about 30 minutes ago on the highway.
Coming back home alone from a regular get-together at a local park at around 12:00AM, I got on the highway, and decided to just cruise down the 3rd lane, and enjoy the smooth ride home, since there was very little cars on the road.
I just didn't feel like speeding tonight, seeing that more and more cops were sitting at random parts of the side of the highway.
However, someone had other plans that night, because as I look in my rear-view mirror to check if there is anything behind me, I notice a very familiar looking set of lights comping up behind me rather quickly (I was cruising at around 50-55ish, so he must've been doing about 80).
Oddly enough, when he cought up to me I right away noticed that it was a twin brother, a E46 BMW.
He tailgated me for a sec, then I seen him steer to the middle lane and gun it passed me, then slow down and get even.
It is then that I noticed something that made me chuckle, and smile to myself. It was a E46 M3, sounded and looked completely stock, in the color of red.
Without thinking for too long, I revved at the twin M3, and received a mean rev back.
We slow it down to about 30mph (I'm in 2nd gear), with me still in the left lane, and him in the middle lane. We're driving neck to neck, and that's when I hear the 1st honk from his car, then the 2nd, and quickly after a short 3rd one.
Then we both get on it and go WOT. We stay even all through second gear, and through most of 3rd, and it's at the top of 3rd gear that I surprisingly started to slightly pull on him, maybe about a bumper in front, and I drop it to 4th, and my car keeps on slightly pulling on him, he lets off at around 120 with maybe half a car to 3/4 of a car behind me.
We slow it down to 30mph again, and do the same run. The 3 honks, both go WOT, and again he lets off at around 120 with half a car to 3/4 of a car behind. By the end of the 2nd run I thought he had called it quits, since he fell back and didn't get even with me after the 2nd run when I slowed it down to around 50.
However, seconds pass and I see him line up with me again, and again we do the same run over, from 30, to around 120 with the same exact result.
The guy pulls up next to me and rolls down his window, and so do I. Then I get shocked to see that the driver is a chick, maybe in her early 20s, and next to her is a dude, that I would say was a good 300lbs. She looks over and smiles, then yells "Thanks for the great run, it was fun... See you around sometime!", rolls up her window and scoots to the right lane and takes the 1st exit that came up.
I missed my exit doing those runs, so I had to get off the nearest one myself, turn around and head home at last. At first I was wondering why I'd gain almost a car on the twin M3, but then I figured it was the weight, and the fact that I do have an aftermarket exhaust system on my 3...
Either way, those were some good runs, and defenitely worth the post, at least for me... It was probably the most fun I had on the highway at night in a long long while, believe me.
The verdict? I guess my lady gets her first twin brother kill... I love it...
Only that it's too bad I won't get any action like that in another good couple months... :icon16:
Cliff notes:
Read it you lazy bastards, because if you're on this forum, it's most likely that you are bored... So, go ahead, kill some time...

The way she drove it, it seemed like a manua, but I could be mistaken...
And as far as her looks go, I couln't see much at 12AM, but her voice sure was sexy...

I have two guesses on the slower M3, other then wieght difference.
1) SMG and it wasn't at its highest setting
or
2) Higher revs tend to scare people, so they short shift.

And your point?
Not saying all chicks can drive but I know a few chicks that can drive quite well. If she didn't have the 300 pounds of ballast in the passenger seat you might of been posting a death instead of a kill. After all you only got 3/4 of a car on her from 30 to 120, she was hanging tough considering the weight penalty.
But a kill is a kill, good job.
