HUGE FUCKING NEWS!! Gene Hoglan (fucking nuts drummer from Strapping Young Lad, Death, and Dark Angel) is to be the drummer for Dethalbum! NO MORE MACHINED DRUMS!!
this can only mean every song is going to have to be re-re-rerecorded, if you catch the ref, with Hoglan, Loomis, Small, and Hetfield.

Saw that drummer with Strapping Young Lad a while ago. That fucker was CLEAN....especially for being a fat guy!! The extra weight sure as hell didn't slow him down.

Old news, but still awesome. I, too, saw SYL last year and Gene was pretty much awesome (so was the rest of the band, for that matter).

Honestly, I like Townsend better in his solo-project. Gene is drummer for some of that, too.
As for old news, probably. I heard Gene was gonna play drums for an exclusive track to a european sountrack to some movie (i forgot now, maybe underworld) a while ago, but i had no idea he'd do it for the Dethalbum. All the better.
