95 GTC starts stalls start stalls

my Lebaron 95 GTC starts and immediately stalls even when you press the gas. It will not run. It starts for a few seconds and then stalls immediately. You can do this several times with the same results. The car is not driveable. It had been sitting over the winter and the battery went dead but the battery was recharged and the car cranks fine starts but immediately stalls every time. I think it may be a fuel filter or gas pump problem or computer problem. Any ideas???

Check fuel pressure and see if it holds. I have seen ignition switches work in the start position but not in the run position. Check for battery power in the run position.

I'm sorry, I finaly found you. I thought you were under a GM link with a name like that. I don't know how to reply to a private message and I think I made a mistake. I have not had a computer long. Do not connect or jumper any wires to the distributor. The run circuit goes from the ignition switch to the engine computer. Get a wiring diagram and see if you have power at the computer from the switch. Wisconsin

I had same issues with my 94 lebaron 3.0 and it was the timing was off set it back on time is running better, still has a sputter popping out throttle but finally stays running.

If your timimg changed something is wrong. Maybe the distributor or gear.
