Welcome to AF.
Your best bet is to pick up a manual.
Thiers just to many things with torque specs that need removed.
A lift makes it easier too, but can be done on realy tall jack stands. It'll just take more time without a lift.
PS- thiers no real need to post the same question twice.
but I see you did find some help ...

if is any help to anyone here its. I took the rack&pinion out by removing it frome all bolts. also disconnect powersteering hoses then remove driver side wheel and the steering arm. insede the car remove paneling from under the steering wheel, there is goine to be a clear rubber boot couldn't figure out how to get it off but i cut through it. there is 2 bolts on the sterring shaft take the one closest to firewall of then its all wiggleling in&out and turninga bit till it can be pulled from the hole where the steering arm passes through. it will come out but be advise it will take alot of patiance. it was also a quad 4 motor so it has alot more space than a V6.
