Which one should i buy? Firebird or Camaro?

Im thinking of getting a firebird or camaro pretty soon. I have trouble deciding to either getting a firebird or camaro. Camaro's are more cheaper than firebirds. But, Firebirds got a more aerodynamic look on it. It looks more sporty than camros. I love both of them.

So get both!

...or, look around for both, and of the ones you find, determin which one you want based on options, engine, color, price, etc. Either way you can't go wrong. :2cents:

Get a Camaro.

Get a firebird..lol we are alot of help..just shop around and find out which ones have the options, milage, engine, color..ect you want

What generation are you looking at?

For a fourth gen, I'd rather have a trans am. For third and older i'd rather have a camaro.

Get a Yugo...it gets better mileage!

It's all personal preference.

yeah neither one is better than the other, ive actually found firebirds to be cheaper, but they are both good cars, its just a matter of what you like better, i personally like the camaro better

Just wait til the sexy new Camaro comes out and then do whatever it takes to get one...thats what Im going to do... I own a 91 camaro rs with the side spoilers..those side spoilers are in style right now and look sexy...I put the ram jet engine in it and am having so many people complementing my ride !!

I would go with which ever one you find in the best condition for the best price. get one with lower mileage because they're fun to mod but a bitch to fix if broken. I like the 4th gen TransAm's but if your going older than the Camaro is better looking.

trans am look a lot beter and the are singled out by the look you get a z28 the all pretty much look alike

i have a 1991 conv camaro and a 1984 fird bird teetop, the firebird is faster and the temp stays at 180 the camaro temp is all the way in the red but never over heated they both have 5.0 but the firebird has a 4bb i vove them both

hm. i had a bird that someone rewired both motors to one switch..i think it was a single pole, double throw? idk. ..maybe triple throw, itd go up one way... and go down the other. it was slick. i could have it half open or anything..the only prob was that it wasnt a 'for sure' way to see if it was open or not.. if you rewired both motors to two switches, each would be controlled independently.

yeah most definately ... a trans am they look better... well to me... and they are said to be 2 tenths of a second faster than camaro in 1/4 mile

First Gen - Either
Second Gen - Either up to 79, Camaro for 80-81
Third Gen - Camaro
Fourth Gen - Firebird

What you do is get a 1970 Camaro OR Firebird, make it run, and then you don't have to worry about headlights. Winking headlights... the only thing anyone (read females only) is gonna be winking in my maro is my dork.

give me a 67 camaro rs ss over any other make model or year

Keep in mind for 3rd gens it is easier to find body parts for a camaro then a TA, but 4th gen TA's look much better then the camaros

seems like this one has been up here for a long time...and its not even on topic..lol thats ok tho.

DEFINANTLY firebird if 88 or older, bigger opt. engines= more power, but crap for mileage... honestly they both aint great for mileage tho...

he was far from stock too though... just runnin his mouth so i raced him to keep from hearin it

yeah got a k&n filter, chip, and flowmaster muffler not much

headers would make for a nice upgrade next

yeah i was thinkin an slp air lid first then headers, ypipe and slp from there
