AC Vents, hard to adjust

I looking for a lubricant that I can use on plastic to plastic contact to make the vents move easyer. Will Silicone Spray work.

I soaked mine in a soapy water solution for awhile.. they work like new now.

If I was to try the lube, I would be reluctant to get any over-spray anywhere, that would just be a magnet for dust and crud;

I dunno.. it's a tough call but you can always clean 'em up later if it gets worse.
