1988 Ford Bronco II XLT will not start

My son was driving his Bronco and it just stalled and will not start. It will turn over strong, just not start. I have checked and or replaced the: Ignition coil, ignition module, distributor and it is getting fire. Fuel pressure was at 10 PSI so I replaced high pressure pump and got lucky. Fuel pressure is good at 40 PSI, fuel regulator is good, air bypass valve good. Inertia switch replaced. I am down to possibly the fuel injectors? A guy at auto zone told me the timing chain might have jumped some teeth. I am running out of things to check and I have replaced some parts I did not need to, so I want to get some input before I start going after anything else. Any and all suggestions appreciated.
