Got my kit on! *PICS -BIG-*

My friend Steve and I put a kit on my car last weekend. Let me know what you guys think. We bought it from someone locally whose returning his car to stock. He's got a carbon fiber hood that we might go pick up tonight, but I'm not sure if I want to be $200 in debt to Steve or not since he'd be the one paying for it (since I just moved and I'm broke).

i say pass on the carbon fiber hood, looks great the way it is! id lower it a little bit to get ride of the wheel gap but not much or its gunna be scrapin!

no way i think a carbon fiber hood would look sweet. kinda help match with the color of the rims, the dark gray.

But in all seriousness, if your gonna use the dark tail lights, dark rims, you might as well have the dark headlights and not the all chrome sheezys (which is why I dont like them)

Ride seems a little high - understandable with a kit - but if that was the case I would have went with a larger rim regardless of what people say.

But really, it looks nice... VERY nice - alot better then most the crap we see :finger:

FRONT END - Nice kit. It fits the 96-98 front end style great. I don't like the grill that much though, looks kinda weird. You headlights look good, but you might wanna consider turning them into black housing. I did that to mine. In my pic on my signature, my headlights are the same as yours, but I later opened them back up and painted the housing black. It would look SWEET on your car.

WHEELS - OMG. Those rims are beauuutiffull. Great choice, they look awesome.

CF HOOD? - YES! It would go in great contrast with your rims and your headlights (if you do what i said above). CF hoods look awesome on red cars ESP with dark rims.

REAR - Eh, the rear of the civic is ok. The tail lights are a little weird looking in my opinion but its not rice central or anything.

LOWERING - THIS SHOULD BE THE NEXT THING YOU DO. The only thing that ruins the image of your car is the HUGE wheel gap. Just 1-2" would look infintely better.

Car looks awesome. It'll look great with the CF hood too. ONE SUGGESTION: JDM EK9 CTR headlights...they're darker and would mathch better imho:cool:
