what about DC Sports, I've heard their stuff is junk. I was talking to a guy at work that had a DC Strut brace that actually broke. Ironically he replaced it with a APC one and has had no probs with it... Same with his short shifter.

If I took it seriously, I'd probably sign it, but they provide absolutely NO hard factual information to back up their claims. Even the URL they posted about "APC product recalls" is a bad link. I'm not a fan of APC by any means, but this petition is garbage, and was very poorly written...

I've driven behind plenty of cars with altezzas both APC and not and I've never had a problem seeing when the brake light comes on. Should you be filed under the classification of the type of person that doesn't pay attention when they drive?

I agree, if you don't like APC then just don't buy it, if you do like APC, then go for it, its your own decision. IMO APC is crap, but that is just my opinion. I have bought clear corner lights from them and one of them leaked, I have also bought an Intake from them and it didn't fit correctly and rubbed against my hood. I will probably never buy an APC product again, but if you wish too, thats your own decision.

right now my opinion of DC Sports is they sell pure shit, based upon what I've heard from a guy at work. He had a strut tower brace that broke and a short shifter that did the same. he tossed it out and picked up an APC brace and shifter for a fraction of what he paid for the DC stuff and he's not had a problem since. K&N's intakes have a bad rep in my book too because everybody I know that has one had to modify it just to get it to fit and usually the filter keeps falling off. I could go on and on but the simple fact is the arguement will never stop, why? because it's an arguement nobody can win. Will the company continue even though you guys dont like them and there's an internet petition? yeah, guess what, they still make products to sell and people still buy them regardless of what a bunch of people on an internet forum say.

everyone has certain companies they like and certain companies they dislike, its just your opinion of that company, and no one can change what everyone else thinks. If you like APC, then buy it, ifyou don't like DC Sports, don't buy it. If everyone bought from the same company then everyone would be complaining that everything is played out. There will always be an arguement about something.
Also every company has bad products somewhere down the line, its just the luck of the draw if you are the one stuck with it or not. Me, I have been unlucky with APC twice and that is good enough for me to switch to a different company, which one for sure, i don't know.

That's true, we need selection, but just because you dont like something doesn't mean you need to go to the extent of putting up an online petition... Personally I hate microsoft for the same reason, they put out crappy stuff, but oh well, I'm a PC technician and I have to just deal with it and no matter if I go to the extent of giving out linux discs and free lessons with every machine I work on I would never be able stop them. I know APC is a much smaller company than Microsoft (Big Brother) but the prinicple is the same.
There will always be an arguement about something.
