Surging

I have a 93 Lumina 3.1 sedan with 80g miles. All of a sudden I have a serious surging problem that has nearly caused me to hit something 3 times.

I noticed when slowing to a stop, the engine will start to die and then suddenly take off. Seems to do this most of the time but not always. It has suddenly wanted to take off just putting it in gear too.

Also, when the engine is cold, it wants to stall everytime you try to take off but never if you are idleing and give it gas. Once warm it never does this when taking off, the other thing happens.

It has had new plugs, wires, fuel filter and ignition model, all within the last 5,000 miles. All GM/AC Delco parts. All but the plugs were still the original parts. Once before I had to replace the Idle motor because it was stalling when you lifted off the gas but this problem did not occur.

I called my local trusty GM dealer whom I have bought cars from since 1970 and they will not be able to look at it till sometime late next week. They declined to comment on what they thought it could be.

Any chance someone here had the exact same problem. There is a AC Delco store and I can get any part in 1 day.
