One more question

OK, this is my first Buick ever, so I have had a couple of question.

Anyway, my 92 Lesabre has climate control. The A/C is cold, but the fan seems like it just does not blow very good. It take forever to cool the car off. It sounds like it is blowing like he**, but still. My other vehicles cool almost imediately.

Any suggestions.... Maybe a new fan? By the way, it does blow out the vents so I know the vacuum line should be good.

It is possible the A/C evaporator is clogged?
Many have found that these often get blocked with debris and dirt and sometimes rodent nests.
They are made similar to a radiator and the narrow passeges for air get blocked and clogged, especially since they are cold they often have condensation on them and collect dust.

If you it is the problem and decide to take it on, try a gentle brushing and some 409 cleaner should loosten alot.
Be aware your refridgerant is of an old type controlled by licences and laws to prevent release into the environment.. so...

Be careful and Good Luck.
