1988 camry with a code 14

:banghead: hii have 1988 camry with a code 14 in the ecm. it is no signal from the ignitor to the ecm on circuit igf 4 to 5 times in a row. when this code is a hard fault the car will run rough and stall. i have put a in a ignitor. distributor, and ecm still the problem is happening after about 5 min driving light on engine stalls. i can see the signal drop out on the lab scope. i do not know if this is an input or out put of the ecm. anyone with any info on this system would be great.
