96 XJ Replacement Rear End

My 96 XJ is desperately needing a rear end. Can someone tell me how I find out what kind or size is in it and also if a rear end from an 86 S-10 blazer would fit? Have access to one from a blazer, but don't exactly have the funds to get a new or rebuilt one for my XJ at the moment. If someone could please give me info, I would appreciate it.
