Color help

How do you guys think I could make this color:

The color for the padded inserts. I want to use it on the inserts on my Celica's iinterior, with the rest being semi gloss black. But, I've tried a few times to mix that color - even spraying clear orange and clear red over it. I've met no success. I'm considering just using my Gulf Orange for the inserts, but that's likely too garish.

Thoughts?

I would use motip red primer, it's matt... and has the right light burgundy-ish color. Probably not the answer you're looking for...

Tamiya dull red spray perhaps?

Thanks guys. Oli, we don't have Motip, but I tried a red primer available here. Close, but it was a little... lackluster, I dunno; just not quite what I was looking for. Tonio - I just picked a can up, and I'm fixin' to try it. From your pics it looks perfect.

The best way I found to get interior colors is mixing. I got incredible colors and textures mixing gloss and matt, for example you could begin with Tamiya 85% gloss red + 15% Matt red, and go on from there.
The paint should be airbrushed very well diluted in thin layers to avoid glossy areas, you will get color and texture at the same time.

A tip: the best paint I found to represent foam (for example for a Momo steering wheel) is the paint from a Tamiya XF-1 paint marker, diluted with X20 and airbrushed, as well us for seats.

I'd be inclined to say a mix of red and brown. I initially thought about Duplicolor sandable primer in the reddish color. But I think its too dark. If it wasn't you could it it with a semi gloss clear and it would give you the sheen you want
