ZEX has a kit for the P10... is there any reason why the P11 can't use a nitrous kit? please let me know. :D

you can get a kit for the P11. I don't think there is any specific applications for the NO2 . As long as you have fuel injection or something it is OK.

I was told to go with NOS. I asked about the ZEX kit and he said better off with NOS b/c dey been in the game longer and if a part messes up, everything can be replaced with a snap of a finger. Just what they told me at my car shop.:D :bloated:

are you going to go with a we or dry nos setup

I like the Venom VCN nitrous kit because the nitrous controller is computet based, so you can go over to your PC and download pre-done settings for optimal performance. It takes alot of guess work out of setting everything. I'm not sure if they make it for your car. It's also easier to install than NOS. However like a few other people said, NOS has been around longer, and is more universally known.

im planning on getting a 40-60shot dry kit. just enough to get my G going a little faster on the xpressway entrance ramps. :p 3rd gear pulls pretty well, but 2nd is kind of a bog... uhhhhhh getting beat by a stock hyundai? hahahha:bloated:

damn KENCHAN . A stock Hyundai. Must have been that elantra. he he. That sucks for me if a stock korean maid car can get me. What was tha deal with putting that 200sx se-r engine into a G20.
Somebody wooped me in a ZX2-(I by myself/2 in ZX2) I was pissed. I didn't get dicked but I didn't beat him. Shhhhiiiiiitttttttttttt. Probably a dry shot, but I don't plan on keeping a slow ass G20 for 2 long. ya heard me.

ps. A little dissapointed bout performance.

I got a AT and ZXwas a 5spd. I got alittle sound system in da back but
I'd say thats only about 40lbs. Don't ask me, ask tha car. I'm trade it in. I don't want to have to get a DET to be fast. This shit realy sucks. And 2nd of all, Kenchan got beat by a Hyundai. He's worse. he he :hehehe:  :bonghitte

hahaha, mrc- naw naw, I was just being sarcastic. no korean car has beaten me yet. ( well, havent had one challenge me either). :p but i wouldnt be too surprised if I did get beat.

i am kinda dissappointed with my P11 when it comes to driving fast because it doesnt go too fast off the line. :( but i use the car for commuting and I hardly have any space to wot in rush hour traffic. hahahaha. :D but during the evenings, sometimes I wanna just whip the ass of some cheezy riced out compact, but each time the G reminds me that Im in a 3000lbs 145hp AT car. :D ahahahaha. its heaavy. but with a 40-60shot nos, I think it would be fast enough to get about 150-160hp at the wheels...which would bring me about 0-60mph 7.4 sec or so..not bad for a sedan! :D

don worry about those ZX2's... they're ugly anyways. :D

Thank you KENCHAN. I feel much better now. I feel the same way man. I am always around the area where a lot of little high school kids
chill and they have civics and stuff. I just wanna go over there and say..."lets run um". But I don't b/c I remember that I am an overweight
bastard and if the civics got a little work in them they would get me. That sucks but its whatever! :bloated:

ps. I luv that bloated smilie ^

gonna headout to my local toystore this week to get details on installing a nos kit. probably gonna let the shop do the install for me. need a remote bottle opener and heater as well... probably can't use NOS durnig the really cold days during the winter, but about 30F I should be okay, right? (bottle heater will maintain temp at about 75F) Im gonna have them route the NOS tube from the trunk through the cabin so that the tubing is not exposed to salt and other sh't out there during the winter. if I start chuckling, its time for an inspection on the tubes. hehehe... :bloated: well, I hear they put sulfer scent on the N2O so I will know when its leaking... my G nolonger makes that sulfer smell after the tsb tuning, so should work great.

not sure where I should put the engagement switch...any ideas? hummm....probably right under the stereo.

im taking about the on/off sw, not the actual switch that triggers the solenoid. hehehe. :D

yah, not a smoker, so it would work, but have my passport 7500 hooked up there, so need another location.

wonder why noone else has nos in the P11's. ???

went to my local toy store for an estimate to get my P11 ZEXed.

ZEX kit 50shot: $575
Installation: $70per hour x 3-4hours
Refill: $4bucks per lbs , so $40

Total: $895 installed

What do you guys think? I've never installed a nitrous kit, so that's why I'm having the guys there install it for me.

I'm planning to install a remote bottle opener (NitrousExpress) on it in the future.

let me know. :D

dont you need to get your ecu tuned after nos, other then that hell yeah ive been thinking about doing it but dont wanna be the guiene pig

kenchan

naw, no need to get the ECU tuned. it works best with factory settings.

your just faster and safer when you get the ecu re programmed. This allows for the fuel curve to adapt to the leaner burning combustion. visit jimwolftechnology.com

I wouldnt say "works best", you may get the "best results" but that is only because you are abusing a stock setup. An ECU tuned for NOS will obviously be safer.

I know one too many people that have had NOS systems "professionally installed" and are "safe" on the engine, yet within a month silly things happen like pistons blowing straight through the engine. :bloated:

My understanding is the in a wet system, the additional fuel required is injected with the NO2 at the throttle body and as such the intake runners will be wet. SR20 DE manifolds are designed to be dry with no fuel in them so pooling etc may occur with a wet system causing erratic air/fuel mixtures at the cylinder, a probable time-bomb.

In a dry system, the additional fuel required is added at the stock injector location. If the injectors are used then the ECU needs to be re-programmed. If extra fuel nozzles are added at this location then maybe not.

Read the JWT info on NOS.

50 shot NOS system on my P10 for the last 2 years with no problems.

I've heard stories of a guy up in Washington a 150 shot on a stock bolck, and claimed he'd had ran something like 80 bottles through it.

140+150+boltons=...........very fast 4-door
