59 Vette W.I.P.

Not sure if I have ever posted a WIP here before but here it is. A close up view of a 59 Corvette. I saw the ref photo online and had to draw it. It's still not near done, but here's some pics...

It's too big for the scanner, so I had to take pics of it. That's why there's varying quality in the pics. Sorry.

what are you using for color?

Caprice: I am using Prismacolors. They are soft and blend/layer really well.

wow, great drawing. but watch the profile on the rear tyre. maybe it is just me but it seems to be at a different angle than the rest of the wheel.

Wow, the chrome on those rims is amazing. These prismacolours are really good aren't they? What brand would you recommend b?

I'm calling it done, for now at least. I just had some commission work come in, so that takes priority if you know what I mean. :) I'd like to finish out the rear of the car, tweak things that I'm not totally happy with at some point, but for now it's all done.
