1984 Cutass Supreme Brougham rear wheel drive. This is my daughters car.
The A/C compressor locked up. We replaced the compressor, accumalator, orfice tube. Vacummed the system down as low as we could. Could not get it to recommended vacumm. We recharged the system. The low pressure guage is higher than the high side pressure guage. 50 PSI is all I can get on the high side. According to the manual it should be about 190 for the ambient temp. Inside the cabin we get 70 degree air. I think I may have put the orfice in backward. Is this the way it would act or does anyone know? Line from the condensor to orfice is warm. Orfice to evap is cooler but sweats. Thanks.
