ok, a few days ago my keyless entry stopped workin, so i went and got a new battery for the key chain thing, and it still doesnt work. does that mean its broke and need to get a new one or some wrong with the reciever or wat?

2 things. It might be the remote cender or remote reciever. RadioShack sells a small thing called something like Infrared Detector pad (for remotes that send infrared signal to TVs) The way it works, its like a small piece of paper material with some stuff in it. When u are pointing remote at it and pressing buttons on it, the light spot of the beam signal of ur remote will show up on the detector pad, and obviously if there is no light showing up if pad, the remote is done. STICK A FORK IN IT :devil: Dont know if car remote signal will show up on that pad. That pad is around 2-4 bucks (not sure) Dealerships have some stuff to check if ur remote sender works or not. U can go to dealer and ask them to check remote system. I dont think they charge for cender check. Not sure of the price for reciever check. Laterz
