All:
Just a heads up. I used Engine Control Units Direct out of Jacksonville, FL for there R/R service on the PCM for my sons 99 Durango because they offered expedited service and a lifetime warranty. Had no problems for about (8) months after the rebuild then it started dying and throwing the "no bus" code. After having been through this problem before I contacted them about a warranty return. Sad to say, it took me (3) days to get ahold of the only guy there who handles returns. I finally got the return #, sent it back and the next day he calls me and says they can't warranty it because the tamper-proof seals are broken. These "seals" consist of (2) thin foil-backed adhesive strips that they stuck over one edge of the PCM cover. No one touched the module from the time I originally installed it in Nov. until I removed it in July. The heat from the engine compartment cooked the seals, dried out the adhesive and caused them to curl up. After arguing with the guy to no avail I finally agreed to pony up another $125 for someone elses rebuilt module which supposedly they will warrant for life. I'm still waiting for the module but I would definitely not recommend dealing with these people.

I agree,do not get one rebuilt and it is a big waste of money. My father had one sent out to get rebuilt, for a 2001 Intrepid with a 2.7 and the code came back. They never heard of this code,I believe it was a 601 code,2001 only with a 2.7 and the fix is to replace the ECU.This rebuild place uses the useless Mitchell repair program on the the computer,The Mitchell never shown this code.
