I got a 91 caprice that im working on and i was wondering if i get oversized springs and shocks if i could put 26s on it. if anyone has a answer i would appreciate it thanks

No. It takes WAY more than that, plus you will throw out the geometry of your suspension by doing so. In order for the 26's to even work, you will have to run tires with a sidewall height of 1" - can you say 10 series tires? They don't make such a thing. The car was not designed for tires larger than 28" overall. Especially on the '91 and '92 which have the rear tire body overhang.

I would probably say in the 20" range - 22" if you do some work on it. Just remember though that by adding rims this big (and correspondingly small tires), you're going to kill the ride.
